The disc is present in the Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" from 1912. A second Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" dating from 1926 also mentions the record. The catalogs associate the artist's name with the city of Fez.
