Both sides of the disc contain a ghaïta solo which, according to the presenter's thanks at the end of the piece on side A of the disc (no. 10791), would have been performed by a certain [Mʿallam ʿAbd al-Slām]. - The disc is present in the Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" from 1912. A second Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" dating from 1926 also mentions the record. The two catalogs associate the names of the artists with the city of Tangier and specify that the mention "Nouba-Ghaïta" designates noubas and fanfares performed by the "Tabor of the Moroccan police of Tangier". Other records mention the military band as "Banda del Tabor Español".
