On both sides of the disc, the word "قصيدة" appears with the following spelling: "ڧصيدة". The same goes for the word “فيضلة”, spelled “ڢيضلة”. The disc is present in the Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" from 1912. A second Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records", dating from 1926, also mentions the record. - Both catalogs associate the name of the artist with the city of Fez. Spelling variant of the artist's name: Maâlma Brika. |
