At the end of the piece, on side A of the disc (n°10803), a presenter present at the time of the recording thanks a certain [Muḥamad al-Sāsī], as well as [Mūlāy Idrīs] and [Ḥmīdū al-Tazī] for their performance. - The disc is present in the Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" from 1912. A second Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" dating from 1926 also mentions the record. The catalogs associate the artist's name with the city of Fez. Spelling variants of the artist's name: Maalem Abderrahman Zouiten, 'Abd al-Rahmân Zuwaytin. |
