The track on side A of the disc (n°10902), although being a song in Arabic, includes a part sung in Spanish. On side B of the record (#10903), the word "عشاق" is spelled "عشاڧ". - The disc is present in the Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records" from 1912. A second Pathé publisher's catalog "Moroccan Directory of Pathé Records", dating from 1926, also mentions the record. Both catalogs associate the artist's name with the city of Tangier. Complement and spelling variant of the artist's name: Mohamed Bennani accompanied by Tayeb Elmasmoudi. |
