Notes It is a treatise that contains the answers given to the criticisms regarding Ibn al-Arabi's views on whether the Pharaoh died with faith in his last breath. In the introduction of the treatise, during the period when intense discussions were held in Istanbul about the Pharaoh's faith, Abdülmecid Sivâsî stated that he was very busy and asked his students to collect and bring together the news in various books on the subject. It was recorded that it was written on. (Süleymaniye Library, Mihrişah Sultan Section 294/5, vr.1b) As can be understood from this record, the treatise was not prepared by Abdülmecîd Sivâsî, but by one of his followers upon his order. According to the note at the end of the copy, the person who prepared this Arabic work consisting of four pages, following the order of Sivasî, was Hacı İsmail b. Hacı Sinân es-Sivâsî. Sivâsî stated that during his lifetime, there were great debates in Istanbul about the faith of the Pharaoh, that many uninterested people put forward their opinions in line with their desires, with motives arising from selfish grudges, and that this treatise was written in order to lift the curtain of this door, which caused mental confusion when their numbers increased, and to compare the words and help distinguish between right and wrong. In the work, referring to Şa'rânî (d. 973/1565)'s work called el-Yevâkī, İbnü'l-Arabî, in Füsûsu'l-hikem's "Mûsâ Fass", says that the Pharaoh said that he died "pure (tahir ve mutahhar)" and at the end of the word, "from now on "The command regarding Pharaoh rests with Allah." He revealed his attitude and intention on this issue by saying, On the other hand, Ibn Arabi wrote in his al-Fütûhat, which was written three years before his death and was one of his last works; It has been said that the person who said that "Pharaoh is one of the people who fell into hell to never come out" (Ibn al-Arabi ts.: I/301), therefore expressing his final opinion on this issue, slandered him by saying that Ibn al-Arabi said "Pharaoh's faith has been accepted". Later, it was noted that the majority of the predecessor and successor scholars agreed that this belief occurred in the state of despair, and that the belief occurring in the state of despair was not valid, and it was noted that the relevant expressions in Füsus, which were also attributed to the Sheikh, were inserted into this work by others. A copy of the work is at Suleymaniye Library, Mihrişah Sultan Section number 294/5. There are. This copy, consisting of four leaves, was copied by Mustafa es-Sivâsî in 1021/1612.
