Notes Letter prepared by Ali Muzaffer Bey. The writer introduces the owner of the letter before transferring the letter. The letter belongs to a young man named Mustafa Nihat. Ali Muzaffer Bey includes the letter after giving general information about Mustafa Nihat. However, the missing pages leave our information incomplete about what is written in the letter. Based on the text obtained, it is seen that Mustafa Nihat's letter is about the 1897 Ottoman-Greek War. In the letter, he first talks about how valuable his homeland is and that he would gladly give his life for it. Then he deals with the tension that started between the Ottoman Empire and Greece. Due to the violations, Müşir Ethem Pasha started to dispatch soldiers to suitable parts of the border. Mustafa and his friends also set off from Alasonya. During war, cannons and bullets spread throughout nature as lightning and thunder. While the fight was continuing, the soldiers felt great sadness when they received the news that Abdülezel Pasha was martyred. The Milona pass is captured and it is reported that Yenişehir has been captured. The capture of Thessaly will be a definite success. Ali Muzaffer Bey points out that Mustafa Nihat and the letter are real, not fictional. What was told by Mustafa Nihat in the letter giving information about the war coincides with historical realities. At the end of the letter, there is an 8-stanza poem titled "An Ottoman Soldier", which is about the Ottoman-Greek War. The work titled "Letter of a Soldier Going to Battle/An Ottoman Volunteer", written in 1899, has 16 pages, but some of the pages of the work are missing.
