Notes	The work of Seyyid Ahmed Râşid Efendi, one of the scholars of Diyarbakır, in which he combines the graceful and eloquent poems of the Arab poets who flourished in the Age of Ignorance and the Arabic poems he wrote himself. The author of Sünûhât has annotated and explained the important and difficult parts of the poems in Arabic. The Mufti of Medina, Âlûsî-zâde Mahmûd Şehâbeddîn-i Bağdâdî, wrote a commentary on this work. A copy of the work is registered in the Ali Emiri Collection of the Istanbul Millet Library under the title Kitâbü's-Sünûhât and number 34 Ae Kitap 236.
