Notes
A religious work written by Saʻyî from Prizren, one of the 16th century poets, to be read in mosques. Written in Persian, in mixed verse and prose, Ta'rîfât includes sections on tawhid, na't, eulogy for Suleiman the Magnificent and prayers in its introduction. The beginnings of the chapters are in verse. The work includes information on different subjects under the headings of months, seasons, prayer and miscellaneous.
