Malzemeler ve teknikler cotton yarn, silk thread, weaving, embroidering, sewing.
Fiziksel açıklama silk and cotton satin embroidered with silk in tambour stitch, pieced, backed and faced with plain weave silk. A white ground panel with silk warp and cotton weft made-up from four pieces which might have formed the border of a larger textile. Described with the Museum Number in the top right hand corner: [a] there is a narrow vertical border down the left hand side with a narrow meandering stem linking stylized flowers [white centre, 2 pink and 2 yellow petals] and yellow or dark green split leaves; [b] on the inner side is a broader vertical band with three large motifs - at the bottom is a diagonal blossom with a 4-part yellow and dark green centre and pointed petals in shades of pink, in the centre are two curved and serrated leaves which form a circle around a stylized spray of pink flowers, above is a composite blossom with a bi-lobed yellow centre and pink pointed leaves; [c] to the right is a similar band with the bi-lobed yellow and pink flower in the centre and the paired leaves above and below'; [d] on the right hand side is a repeat of [a]. The backing is pieced red and yellow silk; the facing is pieced, bias-cut purple and dark blue silk.
