Fiziksel açıklama
Woven silk and metal thread, satin ground, twill binding Foundation warp: white silk, Z-twist Binding warp: red silk Weft: white silk Z-twist Metal thread: silver-gilt strip open S-wound on orange silk White ground with a pattern of botehs. There are five large botehs [18 to 19 cm high] in each row, facing in different directions. The pattern repeat is in two vertical lines and the right facing otehs are slightly smaller than the left facing ones. The motif is delineated by two curving leafy branches and infilled with a single flowering meandering stem emerging from a small vase form. Between each motif are three types of floral motifs: near the base is a composite floral spray, at the mid-side is a simple stylised plant motif and by the curved top of the boteh is a curving floral spray echoing the curve of the main motif. Across the top is a 1 cm woven twill band of undecorated metal thread edged with 5 shoots of grey silk. Selvedge: two cotton threads, S-plied.
