A tapestry woven wool panel. Egyptian, ca. AD300-500. The square panel includes imagery of four flowers (two shades of pink and white) with a flying duck (white outlined in black) between the flowers and a central image of a fruit (?) (blue, white green and pink colours). The panel is bordered in dark purple. Selvedge on two sides. Double warp; s-spun; approx. 8x36 tpc.
