Fiziksel açıklama WARP: white wool; Z3S; 16 threads per inch (61 per dm). WEFT: white cotton; Z3S; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 14 knots per inch (56 per dm) PILE: wool; 11 colours: dark red, red, yellow, dark green, green, blue, light blue, pink, light brown, black, white; symmetrical knot tied around two threads; 112 knots per sq. inch (1708 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: web of 4 cords overcast with blue cotton. END FINISH: Lower: immediately below the pile is 0.5 cms. plainweave with blue cotton followed by an incomplete fringe with a max. of 7 rows of knots 4 cms. long. Upper: one row of countered soumak in dark brown followed by 1 cm. plainweave with blue cotton weft. Incomplete fringe as Lower. DESIGN: Field: black ground with toothed lattice in yellow outlined in red and containing stylised floral motifs. Main border: white ground with 'crab' pattern in various colours. Innermost border: white ground with hexagons, each containing a flowerhead in various colours. Inner and Outer borders; divided by blue diagonal lines. The intervening spaces are filled with blocks of diagonal lines in two contrasting colours. Catalogue date: 27.5.97
