Tile of glazed whitish-grey fritware, painted in brown lustre. In the form of an eight-pointed star. Within a narrow border bearing the inscription are symmetrically scrolled stems with flowers and foliage flanking a conventional cypress-tree, in reserve, on a lustred ground which is diapered with small incised spirals. Round the edge is an Arabic inscription from the Koran.
