Fiziksel açıklama WARP; white and shades of brown wool; Z2S; 5 threads per inch (20 per dm). WEFT: wool; S-spun unplied except for the yellows which are Z-spun, unplied; mixture of single threads and 2 parallel threads used together; 7 colours; yellow, light yellow, dark green, light green, dark blue, blue, white; average of 30 threads per inch (130 per dm). SIDE FINISH: returned wefts END FINISH: turned and stitched in place DESIGN: Field: dark blue ground with 4 or 3 and 2 half blossom-bearing stems across the width; these are repeated down the length; there are 8 complete and 2 partial bands. Main border: white ground with small green anthropomorphic figures; the first and third band along the top and bottom main border have solid figures without their yellow centres. Inner border: blue zigzag separating yellow and light yellow. Outer border: blue zigzag separating yellow and white. NB: Woven like others of this type with interrupted vertical slits; these do not run the entire length of the carpet and have been stitched together. They are visible on the photograph.
