Notes Bottle or pilgrim flask, fritware, of flattened circular form with central boss on flaring foot, painted in underglaze blue and black with cranes surrounded by scrolling foliage; Iran, 1630-60: later white metal mounts with threaded cover.

Fiziksel açıklama Reserve-painted cranes amidst clouds decorate the shoulder, the two central bosses, the two lateral lobed panels and the band above the splayed foot and its small panels with swastikas and crossed leaves. The other parts of the flattened body are covered with broad leafy scrolls and their central florets or reduced swastika patterns. There is no mark. A silver stopper has replaced the broken neck. Painted with two blues and black.
