| Fiziksel açıklama | Warp: cream wool; Z2S; 12 threads per inch (40 per dm). Weft: white wool; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 9 rows of knots per inch (40 per dm). Pile: wool; 9 colours: dark red, orange, green, dark blue, blue, pink, dark brown, black, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; 54 knots per sq. inch (800 per sq. dm). Side finish: both sides have 2 cords overcast with green wool. End finish: lower - 6 passes of soumak in blue/yellow, red/green, pink/blue with single knotted fringe; upper - 3cm plain weave with red weft and loose warp ends. Design: there is a central blue/red gul surrounded by 4 white birds or animals on a blue ground square. A band across the top has three guls in a rectangle, surrounded by a border with isolated geometric motifs. Around the central square is an orange border with an angular meander with stylised blossoms and leaves. |
