A square panel, probably cut from a tunic. Egyptian, ca. AD400-600. Tapestry woven in purple and undyed wool. The square encloses a running hare within a circle, and has a narrow border of knops, 7 across and top/bottom and 6 at each side. approx. 7x32 tpc; triple warps, S-spun.
