Description: Plain weave silk brocaded with silk and metal thread. The apricot [now faded] ground is brocaded with green, blue, pink, ecru and black silk and metal thread [silver strip open S-wound on a silk core] with offset rows of blossoming arrangements in a diminutive pot. The fabric is sewn to a smaller fragment of the same silk on the right hand side. The piece was folded and has faded along the top.
