Malzemeler ve teknikler
Embroidered gauze with silks
Fiziksel açıklama
Curtain panel of embroidered beige gauze with silks in shades of mauve, green and cream in overcast, tent, brick and eyelet stitches. The embroidery is double sided. The panel is made up of two joined borders both of which originally has a third inch border on two sides but one of these has been cut off down the central seam. Each half contains three large floral motifs, and the narrow borders contain small stylised leaf and flower shapes. The edges are bound later with a mauve silk.
