Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment of a plain woven, undyed linen cloth, possibly a tunic, with a tapestry woven panel in brown wool and undyed linen. The slit-tapestry woven decoration depicts a square enclosing a smaller square witha double border, itself enclosing four roundels. Between these is a pattern border of stylised vases with plants. Details have been picked out in flying thread brocading in undyed linen thread. Plain weave: Linen warp (S-spun, 20/cm) Linen weft (S-spun, 16-18/cm) Tapestry weave: Linen warp (S-spun, 16/cm) Wool weft (Z-spun, 26-28/cm; thread doubled) Linen weft (S-spun, 27/cm; thread doubled)
