Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment of a clavus (shoulder band) from a plain-woven, undyed linen tunic, tapestry woven in purple wool and undyed linen thread. The tapestry decoration consists of a row of gadrooned two-handled vases, with two leaves emanating from each. Part way along the shoulder band, the orientation of the vases changes so that they are confronted, with a diamond between the first facing pair. This marked the top of the shoulder, with the band running down both the back and front of the tunic from this point, so that on both sides of the tunic the vases faced upwards.
