Fiziksel açıklama WARP: white and brown wool; Z2S; 5 threads per inch (23 per dm). WEFT: wool; S-spun, unplied except for the yellow which are z-spun, unplied; single threads used and also 2 parallel threads; 6 colours: yellow, light yellow, dark blue, blue, dark brown, white; average of 23 threads per inch (90 per dm). SIDE FINISH: Returned weft END FINISH: incomplete DESIGN: Field: dark blue ground with 3 or 2 and 2 half blossom-bearing sprigs the width. These are repeated 7 times along the length. There is a panel above and below the field which has chevrons in dark blue and shades of yellow and white. Main border: blue ground with stylised motifs; this border is incomplete along the upper end. Inner border: blue zigzag separating yellow and light yellow. Outer border; blue zigzag separating yellow and white. Missing along the upper end. There is a dark brown and a light yellow band along the lower end. NB: Woven like others of this type with interrupted vertical slits; these do not run the entire length of the carpet and have been stitched togher. They are visible on the photograph.
