Woven silk and metal thread, weft-faced. Displayed behind glass. Pattern Warp: Z-twisted pink silk; Binding Warp: Z-twisted pink silk. Wefts: mauve, green, white and tan silk and silver-gilt strip S-wound on yellow silk core. Selvedge: 2 cotton cords. Series of green-edged stripes on a pale ground: [1]faint lines forming an ogival lattice with one complete line of ogees and 2 partial ones. The ogees contain a stylized flowerhead. [2] narrow stripe with small green bars and bent lines and ? a stylized flowerhead? [3] green leafy meander with pink and mauve flowers. [4] narrow stripe with a daisy-like flowerhead. There seems to be a weaving fault because the pattern breaks up. [5] a meander created by botehs alternating with an oval group of flowers. [6] as [2] [7] as [1] etc..
