Fiziksel açıklama
Plain weave cotton embroidered with silk in straight stitches and pulled thread work; whitework. Top and bottom edges are frayed. Outer band of outward facing linked diamonds [usually found closely set as a reciprocal pattern]. Rather indistinct border patterns of embroidered stitches with a diagonal from each corner in pulled thread work reaching to the edge of the central panel. The main border contains adjoining stars worked in satin stitch and the central panel contains a large star. There is evidence in the central panel of another border and small motifs which have been unpicked or have worn away. Cotton Thread: white, Z-spun, tightly twisted Embroidery Thread: white silk; 2S
