Fiziksel açıklama
Dress fabric of woven wool, twill binding. Patterned with a series of four stripes, from left to right they are: [1] a white ground with a meander of diagonal Z-shaped leaves edged in dark blue with a light brown centre interrupted by a green and brown floral spray on a blue stem. [2] dark blue ground with an occasional stylised flowering stem in yellow and light brown. [3] repeat [1] [4] light brown ground with an angular meander in dark blue bearing either a blue leafy spray or a blue flower with a yellow centre. Warp: white, dark blue and light brown wool, all S-twist. Weft: white, green, yellow, light brown and dark blue wool, all Z-twist. There is a line of weaving showing the start or finish of this loom piece: it has 5 shoots of white wool twill weave and 1.5 cm of warp without any weft. There is also one shoot of light brown which runs across the stripes and is 2.5 cm down from the upper end. See T.21/109-1955 for identical pattern.
