Dress fabric of woven silk, weft-faced twill. Hussein Kuli Khan type. Stripes, from left to right: [1] partial stripe, dark blue ground with green meander and red flower; [2] wider stripe; red ground with an angular dark blue meander incorporating a yellow leaf and bearing white stems with white and dark blue petalled flower and two leaves. [3] repeat of [1] [4] Widest stripe; white ground with undulating red and yellow stem with dark blue serrated outline. This encloses a boteh-shaped arrangement of a pair of leaves and a floral stem in red outlined in dark blue. Repeat of [1] and a tiny part of [2] in the lower right hand corner. Warp: white silk. Weft: red, white, yellow silk, all Z-twist and dark blue silk.
