Malzemeler ve teknikler silk thread, metal thread, weaving
Fiziksel açıklama Woven silk and metal thread. Possibly half of the original sash border. There is a selvedge down the right hand side. It includes two and a half vertical motifs. The metal thread is silver strip open S-wound on a yellow silk core. The two horizontal edges have beige silk warp threads and there seems to be no sign of any other colour, possibly suggesting that this border was woven as a separate piece to be attached to a central panel [rather than a border which has been cut off a sash]. Yellow silk ground woven with metal thread and dominated by large-scale and elaborate floral vases, each standing on a shallow striped dish. A semi-circle of red tri-lobed motifs and mauve flowerheads is above each vase. And above this are two pairs of pink blossoms, a central mauve flower and a large pink carnation at the top. The borders consist of narrow bands with diagonal green leaves separating pale flowerheads and a wider band with a pink carnation in profile, alternately inward and outward-facing, small mauve flowerheads and pairs of green leaves on curving stems.
