Fragment from a plain woven, undyed linen textile, possibly part of either a tunic, furnishing fabric or scarf. At the top of the fragment, decoration is provided with a trefoil tapestry woven in purple wool with details picked out in undyed linen thread; at the bottom are two bands woven in in purple wool, above an area of openwork. The fragment terminates in a fringe.
