Plate of fritware, circular, painted in cobalt blue under a clear glaze. The central medallion depicts a deer perched on a rock beneath a pine tree, bamboo and clouds. A band of small panels with reserved-painted crosses round the flange. Imitation Chinese "tassel" mark in blue.
