Woman's bodice of white tambour embroidered net and with a wide pointed neckline, short straight sleeves and extends to just below the bust. It fastens at the centre back with a cord at the neck and waist. The front panel is shaped to the bust and made from green satin with a gilt sequin and pearl pattern of undulating floral trails and rosettes between diagonal lines. All the edges, including the sleeve border, are bound with scarlet cotton. There is red and black plaited braid stitched around the sleeve, and red and black around the neck. The lining of the bust is of red cotton.
