The well and part of the centre are filled with eight almost round panels, which contain alternating fans with ribbons and leafy flowers; brackets with lotus finials and hanging jewels link them together. A double circle surrounds the centre. A hatted figure holding a bottle and with one bare leg, sits on a mound under a pine tree in front of a table with a small flask, approaching by another figure with bare head. He appears to be presenting a bag or bowl. Six S-stems with central floret and leafy finials are neatly spaced round the outer flange with crossed leaves as dividers. On the outer well two pairs of simplified double stems with sketchy leaves are divided by more crossed leaves and a clump of grass. Imitation Chinese square mark in black
