A fragment of tapestry woven wool. Egyptian, ca. AD300-600. Only some areas of the fragment remain. There is a floral border of alternating red and blue flowers, encircled by a guilloché pattern (two cords winding round central points ie: the flowers) of yellow on a cream background. The fragment has a red edged border with the central piece in dark blue. Approx 37x11 tpc, S-spun.
