Malzemeler ve teknikler Wool pile on cotton foundation, asymmetric knot. Warp: white cotton; Z3S; depressed; 22 knots per inch (92 per dm). Weft: orange cotton; Z-spun, unplied, 2 parallel threads per shoot; 3 shoots after each row of knots; 11 rows of knots per inch (43 per dm). Pile: wool; 8 colours - red, orange, light yellow, green, dark blue, blue, light blue, and white; asymmetrical knot open to left and tied around 2 warp threads. Side finish: 1 cord oversewn with red wool. End finish: lower - missing; upper - 4 rows plain weave in light red wool. Cotton Yarn Wool Knotted Pile
Fiziksel açıklama Carpet design: Field: green ground with Herati design in yellow except for central red serrated diamond medallion with tiny upper and lower pendant with 5 rosettes and other stylised flowers and leaves. Quarters of this medallion are in each corner. 2 animals - a dark blue feline and a red deer - appear in each quarter of the main field. Main border: red ground with double orange meander linking rosettes. Guard stripes consist of 6 minor borders, 3 on either side of main border: 1 - red ground with blue meander with white and orange flowers; 2 - dark blue ground with small geometric motifs; 3 - white ground with dark blue meander bearing red and orange flowers; main border, see above; 4 - as for 3; 5 - as for 2; 6 - as for 1.
