Warp: white wool; Z3S; 17 threads per inch (66 per dm). Weft: white wool; Z spun; unplied; 2 parallel threads per shoot; 1 shoot after each row of knots; 9 knots per inch (38 per dm). Pile: wool; 11 colours: dark red, red, light red, yellow, light yellow, green, light green, dark blue, light blue, brown, black; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; 77 knots per sq. inch (1254 knots per sq. dm). Side finish: left-hand side is cut. Right-hand side has 1 cord oversewn with dark blue wool. End finish: both ends cut. Design: Field: light green ground with 2 large multi-coloured and smaller flowers with a diamond lattice. Main border: dark blue ground with large blossom and long serrated leaf, possibly part of floral meander. Inner and outer border: red ground with dark red flowered meander.
