Fiziksel açıklama bag face WARP: cream wool; Z2S; 25 threads to the inch (97 per dm). WEFT: light brown wool; Z spun, apparently unplied with two parallel threads per shoot and 2 shoots after each row of knots; 19 knots to the inch (76 per dm counted at 38 per 5 cms). PILE: wool; 7 colours: dark red, red, yellow, dark green, dark blue, brown, white; asymmetrical knot open to the right and tied around two threads; 238 knots to the sq. inch (3686 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: both sides have one cord overcast in dark red. END FINISH: lower: 1.75 cm. plain weave with cream weft followed by a narrow band of dark blue. Upper: one row of symmetrical jufti knots in blocks of red, dark red and dark green; cut but with evidence of red weft. DESIGN: field: dark red ground with three bands each of four guls quartered in red and yellow and outlined in dark blue and dark green. The rows of guls are joined vertically by a thin dark blue line. There are two and two half bands of secondary motifs each containing two of two halves. This motif has a doubly hooked vertical bar with angular lines protuding horizontally. Main border: red and yellow blocks with small, regular, geometric decoration. Guard stripes have diagonal blocks of colour. Outermost border is solid red in colour save for the lower border which has two rows of red and blue diagonal stripes. Catalogue date: 1.2.95
