Fiziksel açıklama The textile is embroidered with silk in atma, either back and running line stitch or double running in a line for the outlines and close herringbone and slanted stitch for the stems. The border lines are silk threads laid and couched down by short vertical couched lines. Metal threads (used double) have been couched down in a pattern of diagonal lines by silk thread over laid tan-coloured silk. The border, which is contained between two blue lines, is decorated with alternating blue and red stylised pointed flowers which appear to point up the right hand border, along the top border and down the left hand border. The ground is decorated with off-set bands of two and two half or three large composite blossoms, alternating blue and red. The centre of each blossom contains small flowerheads worked in a lighter shade and a stylised tulip with a metal thread centre.
