Fiziksel açıklama Woollen carpet with dark blue medallion on a pink field with cream cornerpieces edged with green. Simple floral decoration in pinks, greens, blues, tan and lilac. Warp: white cotton; Z14S; 26-28 threads per inch (108-124 per dm); depressed. Weft: white cotton; Z8S; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 12-15 knots per inch (52-59 per dm). Pile: wool; 16 colours: light orange, yellow, dark green, green, light green, dark blue, blue, light blue, purple, light purple, dark pink, pink, very light pink, light brown, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; 156-210 knots per sq. inch (2808-3658 per sq. dm). Side finish: one cord overcast with pink wool. End finish: Lower: 2 cm plain weave with evidence of one row of weft wrapping or twining in green and a second row, but colour unknown. The ends of the warp threads have been firmly plaited from right to left to form a strong edge. Upper: cut. Design: Field: pink ground with dark blue medallion with 2 major and 4 minor pendants; this contains a blue rosette with eight pendants. The corners of the field have a very light pink ground edged with green; the field and corners are filled with graceful floral motifs. Main border: dark blue ground elaborately filled with blossoms and serrated, semi-circular overlapping leaves. Inner and outer borders: reciprocal diamond-head pattern in pink and green/dark blue chequers. Outermost border: very narrow and partially incomplete 'running-dog' design in very light pink and dark blue.
