Fiziksel açıklama
resist and block printed, fine plain weave cotton. In the centre is an 8-petalled rosette in white and light blue infilled with a yellow floral spray and framed by a larger yellow 8-petalled rosette with similar floral sprays in light blue and red. In between are lobed lozenges with blue or white grounds and floral motifs. This central arrangement is printed on top of a cream ground decorated with a repeating pattern of a plant stem with a thickish trunk and small and large coiling branches bearing a variety of flowers. The central part of the cover is edge with a simple double-sided reciprocal trefoil border edged in black with white, light blue and red [border a]. This is enclosed by a yellow ground border containing a meandering blue stem and exotic blossoms in red, white, blue and black, then a repeat of border [a], then a red ground border with isolated left-facing, inward pointing botehs in blue, white and black, and a repeat of border [a]. The outermost border has inward pointing red cypress trees separating lobed arches and spandrels in two shades of red. Each arch contains a flowering stem in red on a white ground with blue details. There are noticeable registration pin marks. Colours: two shades of red, blue, yellow, black.
