Fiziksel açıklama
Square fragment of plain woven undyed linen, possibly from a runic, embroidered in purple wool with a gadrooned two-handled vase from which emerge two foliated stems. Details on the vase have also been picked out in embroidery. The vase sits within an embroidered purple wool square.
Üretim
1379-1888 and 1380-1888 are likely from the same garment. Embroidery is relatively uncommon amongst Late Antique Egyptian textiles. It is possible that this piece was imported or embroidered by a non-Egyptian.
