Fiziksel açıklama Plain weave cotton embroidered with silk in straight stitches. Directional design with the top of the pattern at the bottom of the panel, so that the wearer saw the correct pattern. Note: the Museum Number is in the upper left hand corner of this piece. There are no borders. This is a very wide trouser panel and it is probable that this type of trouser was worn over a padded pair for extra warmth. The pattern is large-scale and the embroidered fabric is soft and pliable. The pattern is a series of black diagonal lines from lower right to upper left. There are two sizes of stripes: [1] narrow stripes: three white flowers outlined in bright red alternating with a dark red blossom on a chevron stem.
