Fiziksel açıklama Warp: white cotton; Z7S; depressed; 26 threads per inch (92 per dm) Weft: white cotton; Z spun; unplied; 4 parallel threads per shoot and 2 shoots after each row of knots; 18 knots per inch (66 per dm). Pile: wool; 7 colours: dark red, red, dark yellow, yellow, dark blue, light blue, white; 234 knots per sq in (3036 per sq dm); asymmetrical knot open to left and tied around 2 threads. Side finish: both sides are cut. End finish: both ends are cut. Design: Main border: red ground with dark blue lattice superimposed on dark red, so framing a lion's head. Flowering stems in dark blue provide background tracery. Within both lattices are yellow flowerheads joined by yellow stems outlined in dark red. Subsidiary borders: part of border on either side has light blue ground with floral meander.
