Fiziksel açıklama Caucasian carpet. WARP: light brown wool; Z3S; 17 threads per inch (65 per dm). WEFT: white cotton; Z2S; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 8-10 knots per inch (32-40 per dm). There are noticeable knots in the weft which show through on the right side of the pile. PILE: wool; 11 colours: red, light orange, yellow, green, dark blue, blue, light blue, purple, pink, dark brown, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; average 77 knots per sq. inch (average 1170 per sq. dm.) SIDE FINISH: cut END FINISH: cut, but a cord has been added and been oversewn with brown wool, faded to yellow on the front. DESIGN: Field: dark blue ground with 3 central medallions and below each is a pair of large centre-facing stylised birds, a blue pair, a pink pair and a white pair. It gives the appearance of being symmetrical around the vertical axis but some motifs are repeated and not reflected. The rest of the field is filled with birds, large animals inc. camels and horned animals, combs and geometric motifs. Main border: white ground with geometric pattern of hooked diagonal motifs, possibly based on the boteh. Inner border: diagonal stripes in blue and pink. Outer border; missing.
