Fiziksel açıklama
The off-white, plainweave cotton ground is finely quilted with fine wool wadding throughout in white silk thread. The border of scrolling foliage and six-petalled flowers is within two narrow borders of delicately meandering foliage and star-shaped flowers. The spandrels form a mughal arch and contain flowreing arabesques. The main field is dominated by a large flowering bush. All in chain stitch, in teal blue, sage green, white and pink silk thread, with yellow used in the borders and to delineate the outlines. The Backing: the plainweave cotton is roller-printed with rows of polychrome rows of long botehs suspended above rose-bearing festoons, against a ground of floral sprigs. Possibly Russian or English. The Facing: the broad facing of bias-cut plainweave cotton is roller-printed with narrow bands containing repeating floral motifs in red, navy blue, yellow and white.
