Bowl, whiteware, with engraved and pierced decoration under a clear glaze. Straight sided with a foot rim. The sides are engraved inside with a running pattern of scrolled toothed foliage within a band, the cut-away part being pierced at intervals with holes filled with glaze. Three streaks of blue run down from the rim towards the middle of the bowl.
