The Museum Number is on the front in the top left hand corner. There is a border along the bottom: white ground with a large pink blossom alternating with a small flower outlined in green with small flowers around it. Both are on striped stems pointing to the lower right. There is a narrow band on all 4 sides which extends part way up the sides of the panel; pair of green leaves with either a pink or white flower, densely packed. The main pattern is a series of diagonal lines from lower right to upper left. These are chevron lines in green and dark blue. There are two sizes of stripes: [1] narrow stripes: green ground with mauve, white and black iris pointing to the lower left or upper right alternating with a pink trefoil flower on straight stem pointing up or down. [2] wider stripes in two designs: [a] white ground with three diamond-shaped designs: angled striped stem with pink diamond-shaped flower with 5 mauve and yellow flowers along the upper edges pointing down; spray of flowers pointing down with a pair edged in dark blue and 7 bell-like flowers around a central pink one; straight striped stem with large pink flower pointing right surrounded by smaller flowers. [b] white ground with 3 diamond-shaped designs: central circle of blue and pink bell-like flowers; curved striped stem pointing down with mauve and pink flower and then a horizontal line of 3 pink flowers outlined in light blue; pink and yellow vase outlined in light blue, pointing down, with a pink flower and then a blue flower.
