Stripes: [1] white ground with a continuous line of fat S-shaped leaves in green and blue, each with a maroon and yellow central spot. Both terminals of the S-form are marked with maroon and interrupted by a narrow bar of maroon and red. [2] Red ground with a line of small irregular roundels outlined in white and filled with yellow, green and blue. Both stripes are edged with a narrow line of white, blue and green. Along the sides is a wider stripe with a red ground filled by a line of angular rosettes with a apair of leaves on a fat stem in blue and green; the petals and leaves are also blue and green and are outlined in white. The centre of the rosettes and the leaves are in maroon and yellow. Along the ends is a row of striped carnations outlined in white and filled with green and red resting on a blue line, all on a red ground. In each of the corners is a small square containing an 8-petalled rostte in green and blue outlined in white, with a red and white centre. A band of four shoots of green weft separate this band from the striped pattern. Selvedges: warp threads have been paired to form three or four cords.
