Fiziksel açıklama Carpet with a trellis field and stylised plants. Border of geometric designs with two inner and one outer guard stripes. WARP: white cotton; Z5S; 9-10 threads per inch (35-80 per dm); depressed. WEFT: brown wool; Z-spun, unplied, 3 parallel threads per shoot; 3 shoots, occasionally 2, after each row of knots; 4-5 knots per inch (18 per dm). PILE: wool; 9 colours: red, orange, yellow, dark green, light green, blue, light blue, dark brown, white; asymmetrical knot, open to the left and tied around 2 threads; 18-25 knots per sq. inch (315-720 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: one cord oversewn with yellow wool. END FINISH: Lower: incomplete, evidence of a fringe of twisted warp threads secured with a single knot at the lower end. Upper: missing. DESIGN: Field: red ground with bands of approximately three or two and two half floral sprigs on triangular bases. There are 5 and 2 half bands. The floral sprigs alternate between light blue and blue with the 2 upper blue bands having mixed blue and white wool. Main border: white ground with leaf and wine glass design in yellow, orange and greens. Inner border from centre: (1) yellow and orange ground with white and dark green or light green blocks (2) orange and yellow ground with reciprocal hook pattern formed by a dark brown line forming angular hooks and diagonals. The triangles are filled in light blue on these borders, halfway along all four sides, the pattern reverses direction. Both the corners on the left have been designed to take the turn in all borders. The corners on the other side are missing. Outer border: as (2).
