Fiziksel açıklama Fragment of a tapestry woven band in red, pink, blue, green and yellow dyed wools, and undyed linen thread, originally from a larger hanging. Areas of surrounding plain woven undyed linen remain. The slit-tapestry woven decoration consists of three tessellating, polychrome stepped or crenellated triangles, and the remains of a fourth. The first is woven in undyed linen, pink wool and red wool; the second in yellow wool, green wool and blue wool; and the third in yellow wool, green wool and dark blue wool. The remaining parts the fourth triangle are in yellow wool and pink wool.
Üretim Stepped or crenellated triangles of a similar type form part of the design of a large hanging from Antinoe, now Lyon Musée des Tissus inv. MT 28929.122; see F. Calament and M. Durand, Antinoé à la vie, à la monde. Visions d'élégance dans les solitudes (Lyon 2013), 80-81 No. 13.
