Tall thin rectangular tile, a section of a large frieze; fritware, decorated with a moulded inscription (probably from the Qur'an), left in reserve (white) against a dark cobalt blue ground, with outlines in black. The upper border projects and is decorated in shallow moulded relief with lotus flowers alternating with smaller sprays of flowers, the decoration in reserve against a dark cobalt ground with outlines in black.
